The UK is already a world leader in offshore renewable energy (ORE), but to make the most of the technological benefits pioneered here and to fuel rapid growth in the market, we need to organize and codify existing knowledge. That's why we're working with the ORE Catapult Centre and the Carbon Trust to work out which standards are priorities, map existing standards, consult with industry experts on the most important areas for future standardization, and develop pilot codes of practice.
