Harold Pradal joins BSI Executive as Group Commercial Director

BSI, the business standards company, today announced the appointment of Harold Pradal as Group Commercial Director on the Group Executive with immediate effect.

As the Group Commercial Director, which is a new role, Harold will be responsible for shaping and delivering BSI’s vision, commercial strategy and key initiatives to support business growth across all business streams, sectors and geographies.

Howard Kerr, Chief Executive at BSI said: “Since 2009 we have grown significantly, expanding our geographical reach and business scope.  This new role has been created to deliver a more integrated commercial offering, strengthen our key account management and accelerate growth. 

“Harold will be a great asset to our Group Executive team and I am delighted to welcome him. His experience in business development and managing a global portfolio of commercial partnerships across international markets will help drive BSI to further success.”

Before joining BSI, Harold spent ten years at International SOS, holding a variety of senior strategic, operational and leadership roles in the Asia-Pacific region.  In 2009, Harold started as the General Manager of the Philippines, before moving to China in 2013 as General Manager Sales and Marketing and subsequently General Manager for Greater China. In 2016 Harold was promoted to Regional General Manager of Asia Pacific responsible for growing the business and implementing new product solutions and innovations in the region.

Prior to International SOS, Harold worked for GE Healthcare with responsibility for sales and marketing across Europe, Middle East and Africa, and later as the Asia Pacific Marketing Director.  He has a Biomedical Engineering Degree from the Université du Droit et de la Santé de Lille and a Master in Business from the ILIS Faculté d’Ingénierie et Management de la Santé.
