BSI appoints new UK Managing Director

Anne Scorey has been appointed by business improvement company, BSI (British Standards Institution) as Managing Director of Assurance, UK & Ireland and will join the EMEA Executive team. 

As Managing Director, Anne will be responsible for the leadership of BSI UK’s assurance business incorporating the BSI Kitemark™ and training and certification, as well as leading the operational trading and strategic growth of Sales, Marketing and Operations.

Her leadership and team building strengths, as well as her joint knowledge of Standards and Assurance will help drive the growth and innovation agenda for the UK business.”

Prior to joining BSI, Anne spent eleven years at SAI Global. She was initially appointed as Global Head of Information Services for the business and in 2015 became the Regional Director for Europe on the Global Executive Committee, where she led a major transformation programme, aimed at creating an integrated business from four divisions (Assurance, Information Services, Learning and Risk Software). Anne’s career started in fashion buying for Selfridges and House of Fraser, before moving into Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) where she held the position of Managing Director at Memorex Products Europe.
