PAS 125 - A new vision for crash repair

Increasing support is being received from a wide range of industry stakeholders, following the announcement of the development of a BSI standard and Kitemark® scheme for vehicle crash repairs.

Good progress has been achieved with the initial scoping, structure and drafting of the core content of the standard, which will be published by BSI as a Publicly Available Specification (PAS).

The published PAS will include core elements that define the repair process, including requirements covering the four key quality characteristics: man, method, machine and materials, together with detailed provisions for repair process management that will provide an over-arching framework of control.

Stakeholder consultation process

The PAS development steering group will collectively review comments received on the draft once it is circulated to a wider review panel later in the year.
