Pygmalion Trains For Quality with 9001:2000

Today Pygmalion Group announced its registration to the quality management system ISO 9001:2000. The Group achieved certification to greatly improve the way it manages both customer and supplier relationships which was verified through BSI Management Systems' rigorous audit.
DTI Minister, Gerry Sutcliffe, presented the certificate at the House of Commons. He said:
"I hope that the new standard will improve Pygmalion's productivity and competitiveness. Industry standards like this mitigate business risks and enable global trade, which is good news for the British economy."
Established in the late 1980s, the Pygmalion Computer Group specialises in the provision of IT services - consulting, development and technical training - and business solutions based on Microsoft technologies.
Pygmalion's quality manager, Alwyn Williams, comments: "ISO 9001:2000 is crucial to our business and not just a 'nice to have' because it enables us to seek out more business opportunities.
