BSI Inspectorate Appoints Agricultural Commercial Director

The BSI Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Toni De Bleser as agricultural commercial director for BSI Inspectorate's Agro-commodities activities. BSI Inspectorate provides the inspection of all agricultural and fertiliser products worldwide including grains, feedstuffs, seeds, oils, food products and timber as well as raw materials and finished fertilisers.

De Bleser will be based in Lausanne, Switzerland, reporting to BSI Inspectorate managing directors Chris Fenton (EMEA) and Neil Hopkins (Americas & Asia).

With the assistance of the regional managers and international marketing team, De Bleser will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for the Agro-commodities division to deliver sales and profit growth worldwide. This will help ensure more accurate, faster and more efficient services to clients in the agricultural and fertiliser industries.

De Bleser joins BSI Inspectorate from Intertek where he held the position of regional manager for Asia and EMEA, and prior to that worked for an international grain trading house, Andre and Cie and for ten years at SGS in Belgium, heading up teams in Ghent and Antwerp.

Chris Fenton, commenting on the appointment of De Bleser said, "I am delighted to welcome Toni De Bleser to BSI Inspectorate. He has extensive knowledge of the Agro-commodities market as well as international experience, both of which are essential to this role."
