Why is PAS 7100 Code of practice important?

Business want to act rapidly to address a product failure, which has the potential to cause harm to their customers, and to contact those consumers as quickly and as efficiently as possible.  An effective recall process assures consumers that business have their best interest in mind, and will deal responsibly with a problem, as soon one arises.
